How to install
It takes a few seconds and needs no app store. Pick your device:
iPhone and iPad Safari Your device
- Open www.koyda.com/app in Safari.
- Tap Share . On iOS 26, tap ••• next to the address bar first, then Share.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Not in the list? Tap Edit Actions at the bottom and add it.
- Leave Open as Web App on, then tap Add.
- Open Koyda from your Home Screen.
Android Chrome Your device
- Open www.koyda.com/app in Chrome.
- Tap Install the app above, or the Install banner if Chrome shows one.
- No banner? Tap the menu ⋮, then Add to Home screen, then Install (some versions show Install app straight away).
- Confirm with Install. Koyda appears on your home screen and in your app list.
Computer Chrome or Edge Your device
- Open www.koyda.com/app in Chrome or Edge.
- Click Install the app above, or the install icon at the right of the address bar.
- Chrome menu: ⋮ → Cast, save and share → Install page as app.

Is the Koyda app free?
Yes. The tools and guides are free to use, with no account or sign-up.
Do I need the App Store or Google Play?
No. It installs straight from this page in Safari, Chrome or Edge, as a web app. It takes a few seconds and very little storage.
Does it work without signal?
Yes, once the app has been opened with a connection: the calculators, Quote Builder, section tables (with CSV downloads) and guides are saved on the device.
How does it update?
It checks for a new version when you open it with signal and updates itself. If you are part-way through a quote it waits and offers a refresh instead.
Where is my data kept?
Quotes and saved entries stay on your device. Nothing you type is sent to Koyda unless you choose to email it.
How do I remove it?
Like any app: press and hold the Koyda icon and remove it, or uninstall it from your browser's apps list on a computer.
